As you’ll know by now, my poem The Enchanted Forest featured as part of a light and sound installation on 30th November 2015. After publishing the details on my blog and Facebook page, I was contacted by a few people wishing me luck but who were unable to travel to Dumfries to hear the poem in person. Thank you again to everyone who offered congratulations and luck. It was a wonderful opportunity and I was so thrilled to be chosen as a little part of it, alongside a whole host of talented writers and poets, some just starting out like me, and some well-known names such as local poet Hugh McMillan. It was a real honour and so encouraging to me as a new writer.
